School Trade Fair on Food Processing

On 18 December 2024, the Lutheran Hope Cambodia Organization (LHCO) with funding support from CZECH AID and Diaconia, organized the “School Trade Fair on Food Processing” at CJCC, Phnom Penh. The event was honored by the attendance of Mr. Kamil Pikal, Head of Development Section of Embassy of the Czech Republic to Cambodia; Mr. Bohumil Krejci, Project Coordinator at Diaconia ECCB-CRD; Ms. Thay Bone, Executive Director of the Lutheran Hope Cambodia Organization; and Dr. Chem Mouylin, Professor from the Royal University of Agriculture. Additionally, the fair welcomed media journalists, students, and teachers from five schools: Metapheap Khmer-Japan Sameakki Meanchey High School, Hun Sen Krang Samor High School, Hun Sen Tuek Phos High School, Hun Sen Samrong High School, and Hun Sen Onlong Chrey High School. Approximately 250 participants attended the event.

All the students had the opportunity to learn from experts who shared valuable experience and knowledge on food processing, agriculture, and technology. Furthermore, the schools participated in a competition on food processing for meat and fruit.
Lastly, we would like extend the greatest appreciate all students and teachers participated in this trade fair who worked hard and creative on foods processing.
